Maharishi School, Melbourne first opened in January 1997 with just twenty students. During that year it gained official registration to operate as a primary school and became a member of the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria.

Pictured is Mr and Mrs Grollo, founding benefactors of our school, at an early presentation ceremony. It was their generosity that made the old Loyola Seminary building in Grimshaw Street, Bundoora available to the school as part of Maharishi Vedic College which used the facility from 1995 - 2001.



It was mainly through the efforts of a small team of parents and teachers that the school became established.
