Maharishi School Facilities:

Site:
Maharishi school occupies a one acre site on the corner of Hickford and Dundee Street in Reservoir. This site has some large trees and many new trees and shrubs have been recently planted. The school is close to large open parkland and sporting grounds which the school can use for all kinds of sports and recreational activities.

Classrooms:
The School constructed a new environmentally sustainable building of two large classrooms and two offices which was completed in 2006.  This building was designed to create the most favorable physical environment for the students and teachers.

The design incorporates the principles of architecture in accord with Natural Law - correct orientation, placement and proportion, using natural, non toxic materials.  This has created the most ideal environment for teaching and learning and for the health, happiness and success of the students and teachers.

Another new building with two classrooms and library is currently under construction with completion due at the end of 2009.

In addition the older building on the property has a dedicated art room, student dining room a new kitchen and office space and another classroom.

Outdoor learning areas:
There are two attractive gazebos for outdoor learning which can also be used for shelter and lunches.

Playground equipment.
There are three well equipped playground areas - one for the very young with adjoining large sandpit and three areas including fitness equipment, climbing, slides etc.

Hardcourt area
There is a good hard court area for basketball, net ball, handball, and games of all kinds.

Sun Shades
The hardcourt and one of the playground area has large attractive shades sails.

Water tanks and Solar Panels.
Two large water tanks and a garden watering system were installed in 2009  and photo-voltaic solar panels will installed later in 2009

Garden area and Greenhouse
The school has an attractive garden area for students and a new greenhouse has been installed.
